As a mother of 4 wonderful children and the wife of a Pastor, I understand what it’s like to have a busy life, feelings of exhaustion and lose of self-identity. I also know what it’s like to rediscover purpose in life and in your home. I’ve endured the challenges of being a single parent, making career changes and being faced with redefining myself. Transition is something that I am familiar with.
I first began working with children over 15 years ago, while serving in ministry. I served as a drill team instructor, an instructor for the teenage class of children’s church and served on the youth ministry board for many years. It was when I first began serving youth in the church that I learned of my calling to work with children and their families. I believe that effective parenting does not always come easy and can only be obtained by first making a conscience decision to do so. In parenting my own children I’ve made a decision that I will do what it takes to provide the best possible guidance and instruction so they may be entitled to a successful future.
My passions are centered on the healthy development of children and helping women to find their God-given purpose. My passions have led me to coaching individuals in developing techniques and strategies that will bring desirable results for their life. Everyday, I work with children who have been rejected due to their defiant behavior as their parents feel stuck and alone. It breaks my heart to see families struggling in this way. Through structure and systematic discipline, children and their parents can be successful. I believe, success is more accessible when learned as a child although it’s never too late to learn anything.
Life balance is an important value that I work diligently in maintaining. I enjoy nature and its calm scenic view. Summer is my favorite season of the year. When I’m not working, I spend time with family, being pampered, traveling, going to the cinema and dancing with my husband. My special interests are listening to music, running and learning new things.
