Steve is a Seattle-based independent film writer and producer; he is also a business, entertainment, and intellectual property attorney with Bracepoint Law in Seattle, the founder of the consulting firm Quadrant45, and the Director of Hero Relations for the The Sidekick Collective. His feature films (as writer/producer) include Crimes of the Past, A Relative Thing, Farewell to Harry, and 2015 release The Periphery Project. His award-winning shorts include The Day My Parents Became Cool, Thr33, and most recently, the award-winning The Maury Island Incident (now an “IndieFlix Original Series” and available on Hulu) and the documentary Reinventing the Patriot. Steve was also the designer of numerous award-winning game titles including Dread Pirate, Stretch Run, Master and Commander, and Barista. He frequently speaks to film and toy-and-game industry groups on entrepreneurship, crowdsourcing, and protecting intellectual properties; currently serves on the Port Townsend Film Festival Board of Directors, as a Washington Filmworks Innovation Lab Juror, and teaches screenwriting at the University of Washington and film producing at the Seattle Film Institute.

We represent independently produced motion pictures, web sites with significant copyright and potential infringement issues, trademark registrations and related issues. Caspar has been a successful global professional for over 25 years. His businesses have taken him from the financial sector in Atlanta, New York, London, Frankfurt and Zurich to his most current path in the entertainment business in Los Angeles.

Caspar began his quest for the arts at an early age while growing up in London and continued his education with a magna cum laude degree in Liberal Arts from Vassar College in upstate New York. He developed his sense of business through a rigorous career in investment banking having held senior positions at major financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Bank of Nova Scotia, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and lastly as a senior executive for J.P. Morgan. During his tenure in the IB world, Caspar raised a total of over US$1.8 billion in equity financing and brought to market some of the largest capital market transactions in the Biotechnology sector, including the highly successful Initial Public Offering of Genetech.

Caspar retired from the financial sector in 2003 to attend the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. From there, Caspar became President of Celebration Pictures where he produced several films with some of today’s top actors under the mentorship of the late Academy Award winning producer John Daly. In 2006 he formed his own production company Fortune Films LLC, under whose banner he has produced a plethora of successful independent Hollywood motion pictures collaborating in the role of creative producer, executive producer, and financier. He has worked with some of Hollywood’s most creative talent on projects such as ‘PLAYED’, ‘MOONPIE’, ‘FIVE DOLLARS A DAY’, ‘HOUNDDOG’, and ‘HACHI.

In 2010 Caspar formed Institutional Media Investments where he served in an advisory capacity to several film funds, including Hemisphere Capital which financed Hollywood Tentpole films including ‘MEN IN BLACK 3’, ‘THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN’, ‘THE SMURFS’ and ‘WORLD WAR Z’.

He serves on the board of several organizations, including the American Film Institute’s (AFI) National Council and the clothing label V-Designs which was recently featured on CNN as one of Atlanta’s hottest young companies to watch. He is also a patron of the Sundance Institute and together with his wife Lisa Firestone von Winterfeldt, resides in Santa Monica, CA. He counts photography and diving to his favorite past times and has served on philanthropic missions for both the Ocean’s Foundation and the African Wildlife Foundation. His most recent mission was to accompany Dr. Silvia Earle on a ‘MISSION BLUE’ expedition in the Sea of Cortez in June 2015.

From 1996 – 2001, Anne Marie was the Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Freeman’s company, Revelations Entertainment. She led the company in the strategic financing and distribution of Revelations’ projects. During her tenure, Revelations Entertainment produced Along Came a Spider for Paramount; developed and produced Port Chicago Mutiny for NBC Network; and developed, independently financed and produced Under Suspicion starring Morgan Freeman and Gene Hackman for Sony Premiere DVDs/Lions Gate.

Marc Jacobson grew up in a household surrounded by entertainment industry professionals. In law school, he determined early on that entertainment law could be a fertile ground for his future. As Founding Chairman of the New York State Bar Association Section on Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law, Marc developed a broad business and legal background and built his unique practice by focusing on two passions: film and music.

Today, while still handling sophisticated music publishing and recording transactions, Marc also handles all legal aspects of filmed entertainment for films like “Conviction” (2010) with Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell, “Texasville” (1990) with Jeff Bridges and Cybil Shepard and “All’s Fair” (1989) with George Segal and Sally Kellerman. He is currently Production Counsel to the forthcoming “Back In The Day,” “Inversion,” “Alex and Emmy,” “The Enigma of Benito Cereno” and is Executive Producer and Production Counsel for “Leaves of the Tree” and “Confidence Game.” As an Executive Producer he helped create films like “Junction” (2013), and “The Last Film Festival,” Dennis Hopper’s last live action movie.
