Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also known as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens) is an upcoming American epic space opera film directed by J. J. Abrams. The seventh installment in the main Star Wars film series, it stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Max von Sydow. The story is set approximately 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983).

The Force Awakens will be the first film in the planned third Star Wars trilogy announced after The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Lucasfilm in October 2012. It is produced by Abrams, his long-time collaborator Bryan Burk, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. Along with directing and producing, Abrams also co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan, who co-wrote the original trilogy films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Abrams and Kasdan rewrote an initial script by Michael Arndt, who also wrote the story treatment. John Williams returns to compose the score, and Star Wars creator George Lucas serves as creative consultant.

The Force Awakens is produced by Lucasfilm and Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and will be distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Second-unit filming began in April 2014 in Abu Dhabi and Iceland, with principal photography taking place between May and November 2014 in Abu Dhabi, Ireland, and Pinewood Studios in England. The Force Awakens is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D, more than ten years after the release of the last live-action Star Wars film, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Mars/Venus: Monogamy an outdated concept 43 (2×03)

E. 43 Synopsis: Many societies that we consider monogamous in fact allow easy divorce. In many western countries divorce rates approach 50%. Those who remarry do so on average 3 times. Divorce and remarriage can thus result in “serial monogamy”, i.e. multiple marriages but only one legal spouse at a time. In a time when online connection provide opportunities for connection and deception in a way never before seen, has the idea of one partner for a lifetime an outdated concept?

Join special guest panelists Doc Love and Ebony Empress as we explore this topic M&WT:MVS style!

Ebony Empress @MsEbonyEmpress http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ebonyempress http://www.ebonyempresstv.com/

I started broadcasting on Tropicalfm Internet radio in 2011 and was amazed to learn a new skill that I felt really comfortable with. I will always be grateful to Don One, for giving me the Sunday night slot for a show called ‘More power within you’. I moved to Blogtalk radio and started Ebony’s Real Talks in May 2012 and the rest is history. We now have over 90,000 listeners and the show has won the Ebony Business Online Talk Show of 2014 in London.

Over the past 2 years I have appeared on a number of shows including the Jay King Network (The Cool Critics), Mr Talk, Six Eyes Radio, CRS Radio and One Carrribean Radio. I have also had a number of Co-hosts who have helped me to increase my ratings. I would like to publicly thank all my listeners and Co-hosts including Winsome Miller, Steve the Dean Williams, Nathaniel Graham, Tanneka Guice, Hilton Samuel, Joe from Montana, Bougie Girl(Lainee Alexander) and Mr Talk {Eric Jackson} for your support and love.

Some things you may not know about Ebony Smile:
I am a Mother who is passionate, outgoing, fun loving and also a Marathon Runner. When you listen to my shows you will learn that I like to tease my listeners and laugh at myself. I still make mistakes and forget things or mispronounce names. This just means I am still learning how to present to a World wide audience.

Anyway at the end of the day this is my passion. This is what I love doing and so who cares what goes wrong, as long as we keep learning and growing together through the power of conversation.

Having survived an unhealthy, abusive, 20 year relationship, I have spent the last 5 years trying to understand how love relationships work. Conversations are very powerful they can help you to shift your thinking and support you to question some of the beliefs you hold on to. I believe that no one has to change anything unless they choose to. What may propel you to want to make a change is when you feel like it’s Groundhog day and you keep repeating the same mistakes over, again and again.

“If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you’ve made, if they don’t realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go.” ― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

Mars/Venus: What is Beauty? 30

Synopsis:
We cut, wax, color, clip, pluck, straighten, shave, and curl. We lift, curl, run, squat, and sweat. We spend far too long staring back at that person in the mirror, scrutinizing, worrying, and wishing. Ad campaigns for stores and clothing lines feature men and women who you wish you could look like in your dreams.

We constantly compare ourselves to others and fall short of the images we see, our ideals, and expectations. We aim so high and are shocked when we can’t make the mark, when in reality, our own beauty isn’t dependent on who we would like to be.

Episode 30 the panel examines BEAUTY. Does beauty come only from with in or is it more than that?  Panel: Norma Mena, Shai G, Taralyn Gravois, Olaf Barbosa, LaPiscean Liberty, Shawn Gee, Fin
